Library has the task of being a stable support to the teaching process, monitoring the information needs of its users and presenting, where necessary, their requests to the administrative bodies of the Polytechnic so that the desired goals of expanding and improving library services can be achieved in the desired time frame and in an appropriate manner through a synergistic approach.
Tasks Libraries are tasks related to planning, procurement, professional processing, making available for use, preservation and protection of diverse library materials; working with users and appropriate adaptation to their information requirements; constant professional training of library staff; concern for creating the necessary conditions for learning and smooth work in the reading room; the overall organization of work in the library and the creation and maintenance of quality and encouraging communication and cooperation with library users, other organizational units of the Polytechnic, administrative bodies and other higher education libraries, the National and University Library in Zagreb, other libraries, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Culture and Media , Agency for Science and Education, foreign libraries, publishing houses, bookstores, educational and cultural institutions as well as all types of media.
