Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, majoring in Marketing - Management, where he also completed post-graduate studies, majoring in Entrepreneurship, and received his doctorate on the subject of "Management of food product brands".
Since 2013, Baltazar Zaprešić has been permanently employed at the Polytechnic. Among other things, the professional experience of Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Ružića has held various management positions, such as deputy director of packaging sales at Belišće d.d., director of the commercial sector at Kutjevo d.d., member of the board at Kutjevo d.d., member of the supervisory board at Đakovacki vinim d.d., sales director at Agrokor vinim and sales director at Belje d.d.
As head of the Consultative Center in Osijek, he greatly contributed to the development and positioning of the Polytechnic in the region of Eastern Croatia. In February 2020, Associate Prof. Ph.D. Ružić assumed the position of vice dean for teaching, students, finance and business, and in July of the same year he assumed the position of acting dean. In January 2021, the Council will confirm him as the new dean of the Polytechnic for a mandate period of four years.
At the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, he earned a degree in economics. In 2010, he completed his post-graduate scientific master's degree in the field of economics at the same University. He has been gaining work experience since 2000; first as an entrepreneur, he runs his own company for trade and services, where he was employed until 2006, when he was employed at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, where, after two years of service, he obtained the title of junior diplomat - attaché.
As a member of the Secretariat of the negotiating group, he works on accession negotiations between the Republic of Croatia and the EU with a focus on statistical monitoring of the fulfillment of economic criteria by the Republic of Croatia.
Istovremeno je član radne skupine za izradu Pretpristupnog ekonomskog programa RH. Na Veleučilištu Baltazar Zaprešić zaposlen je od 2011. godine gdje od početka aktivno sudjeluje u nastavnom procesu, trenutno u zvanju višeg predavača. Obnašao je funkciju voditelja studijskog usmjerenja Poslovna ekonomija i financije, dok trenutno obnaša funkciju prodekana za nastavu i studente.
He is the author or co-author of several scientific or expert articles in the field of economics with a narrower interest in quantitative economics and the economics of entrepreneurship.
Dr. sc. socio. Ivana Lacković, prof. prof. stud., graduated in 2013 from the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek - Faculty of Economics in Osijek, from the Postgraduate Specialist Study "Marketing of Special Areas" with the highest grades. At the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek - Faculty of Economics in Osijek, in 2023, she completed the Doctoral Study "Management" and obtained the title of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of social sciences, scientific field of economics. She is a member of CROMAR - Croatian Marketing Association. Since May 2024, she has been a member of the Committee for International Cooperation of the Association of Polytechnics of the Republic of Croatia.
Dr. sc. Martina Vukašina doktorirala je 2021. godine na Sveučilištu u Zadru i Libertas međunarodnom sveučilištu, na temu „Uloga Europskih strukturnih i investicijskih fondova u poticanju regionalnog razvoja“. Od 2014. do 2024. godine kontinuirano je gradila karijeru u javnom sektoru, gdje je aktivno sudjelovala u pripremi i provedbi brojnih uspješnih investicijskih projekata te izradi ključnih strateških dokumenata. Njezina stručnost potvrđena je međunarodno priznatim certifikatom IPMA B, koji je svrstava među iskusne stručnjake za projektni menadžment.
Kontinuirano profesionalno usavršavanje ključni je dio njezinog osobnog i profesionalnog razvoja. Pohađala je specijalizirane programe poput „High Impact Leadership Development Program – Managerial Skill Development Program“ na Administrative Staff College of India u Hyderabadu, te „Leadership Principles“ na prestižnoj Harvard Business School. Trenutno proširuje svoja znanja i vještine u području neurolingvističkog programiranja (NLP), nastojeći primijeniti najnovije spoznaje iz ovog područja u svom profesionalnom okruženju.
Autorica je više znanstvenih i stručnih radova iz područja ekonomije, posebice regionalnog razvoja, kao i projektnog menadžmenta.
Uz akademsku i stručnu izvrsnost, ističe se izrazitom otvorenošću, empatijom i entuzijazmom u radu s ljudima. Strast prema istraživanju novih kultura i upoznavanju ljudi iz različitih krajeva svijeta rezultirala je brojnim međunarodnim prijateljstvima i razvojem izvrsnih međukulturalnih vještina.
Od listopada 2025. na Veleučilištu Baltazar obnaša dužnost pomoćnice dekana za projekte i međunarodnu suradnju.

With his work, management experience and dedication, he contributes to the development and recognition of the Polytechnic.
Nina Nemčić, univ. mag. iur., graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. She gained work experience at the Ministry of Finance, and after passing the state professional exam and the bar exam, she worked at the Municipal Court in Zaprešić. She has been working at the Baltazar Polytechnic since 2011, and before taking over the position of Secretary General, she was Head of Legal Affairs.
Since April 2021, she has been a member of the Committee for Legal Affairs of the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges.
