The Quality Committee, as a body of the quality assurance system at the Polytechnic with the right to public opinion, Baltazar Zaprešić, in coordination with other advisory and expert bodies of the Polytechnic, participates in the analysis and development of evaluation procedures, the development of internal assurance mechanisms and the improvement of the quality system. In this regard, the Committee:

• encourages continuous discussions about quality and promotes a culture of quality at the Polytechnic, but also in the wider higher education community and the public,
• based on external and internal evaluation analyses, proposes to the Dean and the Council of the Polytechnic a quality assurance strategy as well as guidelines, criteria, standards and procedures for its implementation and continuous cyclical improvement,
• proposes to the Polytechnic Council a plan of activities in the field of quality assurance and mechanisms for improving the quality system, and encourages innovation and development for the purpose of improving quality,
• monitors and analyzes periodic internal quality assessments as well as other procedures with this aim, reporting to the Dean and the Polytechnic Council,
• proposes to the Dean and the Council of the Polytechnic procedures and measures for improving the current situation,
• participates in the development of evaluation procedures, internal mechanisms for ensuring and improving the quality system through: development of quality indicators, monitoring the quality of the teaching process (surveying), defining and implementing criteria, standards and procedures for monitoring the quality system.
