Milan Jurina is a recognized expert in the field of social sciences. He is a professor of psychology and pedagogy and has worked as a teacher, lecturer, professor and principal in various educational institutions for many years. He has received many public awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award of the City of Zaprešić.
DEKAN 2007. – 2011.
Nikola Skledar dedicated his entire life to science – philosophy and sociology, with a special emphasis on the sociology of religion and sociology of culture, and is the founder of the Management in Culture department at the Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic. However, in addition to science, he also devoted himself to teaching – at the current University of Zadar he was elected to all positions, from assistant to full professor with a permanent position. He was the director of the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, a member and president of the Croatian Sociological Society, the Croatian Philosophical Society and the Croatian Bioethical Society.
DEAN 2013. – 2016.
Vinko Morović served as the mayor of the city of Zaprešić, the principal of the Ban Josip Jelačić High School, and was one of the founders of the Baltazar Adam Krčelić College, today the Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic. He was the first president of the Governing Board of the Polytechnic. During his tenure as dean, he greatly contributed to the modernization of educational processes and the Polytechnic.
V. D. DEKANA 2016.
Ana Skledar Matijević holds a doctorate in literary sciences and has been working at the Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic since its foundation as the Baltazar Adam Krčelić College of Business and Management. She has served as the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Vice-Dean for Teaching for several terms. She is the Secretary of the Association of Language Teachers at Universities and a member of the Humanities Committee and the Zagreb County Public Awards Committee.
DEAN 2016. – 2017.
Zoran Pičuljan has held numerous positions in his career. He was an expert associate and advisor for legal issues of higher education and science, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for legal issues, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for consular issues, international law and Croatian emigration, Secretary of the Ministry and Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Czech Republic, Ambassador and Head of the Department for Diplomatic Education at the Diplomatic Academy, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice, and Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Administration of the Republic of Croatia.
V. D. DEKANA 2017. – 2018.
Goran Popović holds a master's and doctorate in information and communication sciences and has taught at various universities for many years, and was a dean for three terms at polytechnics. In addition to his rich academic career, Professor Popović is also the co-founder and long-time general director of the Croatian Communication Society, director of the Media Institute for Central and Southeastern Europe, director of the newspaper Vjesnik, and a leading consultant in the field of media and organizational sciences.
DEAN 2018. – 2020.
Professor Šimović is a full professor with a permanent position, and during his academic career he has held a number of strategic functions, such as head of a department and university departments, professor, chief manager of several international and domestic scientific and professional projects, manager and administrator (responsible person), dean of the faculty, manager and administrator as vice-rector.
