The structure of the study program is designed in such a way that common courses in all majors are conducted in the first and part of the second year of study, while specific courses in individual majors are conducted in higher years of study.

candidates who have completed an appropriate vocational short course in the Republic of Croatia or abroad,

Common learning outcomes:

Considering the specifics of the Business and Management study program with three specializations, the common learning outcomes of the program and the specific learning outcomes that the student acquires upon completion of one of the specializations are defined.

IU1 Evaluate principles of business management in accordance with ethical settings and socially responsible business.
IU2 Develop the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team in the context of respecting the cultural, social, political, regulatory and environmental aspects of business
IU3 Manage time and the dynamics of business processes in an efficient manner with the application of skills for resolving conflict situations
IU4 Apply professional economic terms and principles of written and oral business communication in native and foreign languages
IU5 Develop the ability to search, analyze and synthesize information and continuous learning for the purpose of improving business processes
IU6 Evaluate the impact of changes in the domestic and international environment, taking into account the economic behavior of individuals, households and business entities in the context of the functioning of the economy as a whole
IU7 Select appropriate economic, accounting and financial tools for business analysis and financial planning
IU8 Integrate adequate tools of information and communication technology for the needs of managing business processes.
IU9 To manage business processes using managerial concepts and in accordance with the legislative and regulatory framework.
IU10 Integrate acquired knowledge with the aim of improving the operational level of business processes in an entrepreneurial and innovative way.
IU11 Develop entrepreneurial idea using integrated knowledge from the field of business and management
IU12 Apply specific economic techniques and tools in the performance of certain business functions in the organization
IU13 Manage business processes in a way that contributes to increasing productivity and efficiency in a dynamic and changing environment.

Competences that the student acquires after completing the Undergraduate Professional Study Business and Management:

The study program develops general (generic) competencies and professional competencies that result from previously defined learning outcomes both at the level of the study program and at the course level, on the one hand, and the need to ensure the required competencies on the labor market, on the other hand. While general (generic) competences are acquired at the level of the entire study program, the professional competences that are acquired differ in one part with regard to the specificity of a particular study direction within the entire study program. Namely, the specifics of the study program are reflected through a wide scope of professional knowledge and skills, predominantly from the field of economics, on the one hand, but also a narrower scope of professional competences related to the specifics of individual study directions, on the other hand.
